Find out about the founding of Rhode Island. Explore Roger Williams’ relationship with the Narragansett People, and discover how Roger Williams’ ideas about religious freedom influenced the Rhode Island and United States of America constitutions.
The Friends will conduct a brief business meeting at 6:45 p.m. followed by John’s talk.
John McNiff joined the National Park Service in 1996 and was stationed at the Roger Williams National Memorial in 1997. He is a graduate of Rhode Island College and SUNY Binghamton. He grew up in Gaspee Plateau.
