Kathleen is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design. She also studied at RIC, CCRI, and UMass Dartmouth and was a public school art teacher for over 20 years. Kathleen lives in Warwick and has painted all of her life:

"I believe that each of us must create. We are all driven to bring something out of nothing. We each have a voice that longs to be heard. And in the process of creating we are fulfilled. Our imaginings are boundless. We all need to sing or dance or perform or paint our visions, our hopes and our sadness, our angels and our demons, our sunlight and our darkness."
