Steamships on the Bay by the Steamship Historical Society of America

Join Astrid Drew from the Steamship Historical Society of America and the Warwick Historical Society for a presentation on steamships on Narragansett Bay.

 

In the 19th and early 20th centuries, Narragansett Bay overflowed with steamships from luxurious passenger ships to working ships of all kinds. Discover vessels that navigated the Bay at the height of the steamship era.

 

26th Annual Providence Latin American Film Festival

See five spectacular international films when the 26th Annual Providence Latin American Film Festival comes to Warwick Library on September 28 & 29.

 

On Friday, September 28 at 7 p.m., see the 2018 Chile drama El tipo que se quebró las uñas (por querer agarrar un corazón dibujado en el pavement) or The Guy Who Broke His Fingernails (Trying to Grab a Heart Drawn on the Pavement). A failing marriage seems to get better after the husband starts having an affair.
