An opportunity for students to work collaboratively and meet with their teacher over the summer
Talk about life’s big questions. Chew over current events, ethics, philosophy, and more in a fun, respectful, and relaxed conversation.
Each session will start with a one-hour discussion of the topics you want to talk about. Then, we’ll consider the question of the day. Our July 29 meeting will take on the question: Would living forever be an unconditional good? How would a world without death manage itself? Is death necessary to give shape and meaning to life?
Everyone has a story to tell, and writing your story is a great way to learn about yourself. Take a break from the distractions of daily life to uncover memories you may have forgotten. Find inspiration in others’ experiences, and enjoy the connection of sharing your tale.
Each meeting starts with a writing exercise that asks you to remember a part of your life. Then, you’ll be invited to read your story to the group. Arrive ready to write with paper and pen.
