Make a festive evergreen wreath with URI Master Gardener Lee Menard on Wednesday, December 11 at 7 p.m.
Making a wreath is easier than you think when you follow Lee’s step-by-step instructions.
The library will provide floral wire. You’ll need to bring:
- a wire coat hanger or wreath ring
- heavy-duty scissors or small pruning snips
- wire edge ribbon
- decorative items such as pine cones, ornaments, silk flowers, dried flowers, and seed pods
- enough greens to make a wreath, including bittersweet, boxwood, cedar, fir, grapevine, holly, juniper, pine, and spruce
The URI Master Gardener Program has taught the latest and best gardening practices to gardeners across Rhode Island since 1977.
