Six-Word Memoirs: Share Yours at the Library in November

Six-Word Memoirs®

Our Family Stories - Immigration, Welcoming, Belonging

Whether new to RI or here for generations, every family has a story. Share yours at the library during the month of November.

Free of charge. All are welcome to participate. No registration required.

Create: Stop by the library to pick up a materials kit, or use your own art supplies to write/illustrate a Six-Word poem/memoir. (Illustration encouraged but not required.)

Share: Bring your artwork to the Reference or Children’s desks for display.

Connect: Visit the first floor art gallery wall from now through the end of November. See “windows” to other families’ histories and, possibly, “mirrors” of your own.
