VolunTeens: Cheer-Up Postcards

colorful smiles

Grades 6-12

What are VolunTeens?  A way for teens to earn volunteer hours while helping the community.

This month's project is decorating fun postcards to brighten up the day for sick children.  Drop by Teenspace during the designated time to decorate some postcards with stickers, drawings, and jokes.   We will send the finished postcards to Sending Smiles* and they will take care of the rest.

Don't need volunteer hours?  No problem.  Just come and help make a child smile.

*Sending Smiles was created by two sisiters, Alex, 9, and Ashley, 12.  "Their mission is to send messages of hope to sick children with crazy fun postcards.   Cards have been sent to individual families, hospitals, and over 25 Ronald McDonald Houses across the US."
