Grades 6-8

Designed to prepare students to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. This instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use CPR manikins to practice life-saving rescue skills.
Students will learn:
- child care skills
- life & business skills
- safety skills
- first-aid & rescue skills
The class is from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please bring a lunch and arrive at 8:45 a.m. to have time to check in.
Students also need to fill out 2 forms before taking the class. After you register, please download/print the Registration Form and Student Contract (or drop by the Children's Library to pick up the forms).
The forms need to be emailed to teens@warwicklibrary.org or returned to the library before the class.
