Vinyl Revival at the library
You can revisit your favorite albums and make fresh musical connections with our rotating collection of recorded treasures.
Music is streaming everywhere these days, but vinyl literally lets you touch the music and interact with the artwork and lyrics on those glorious and engaging square-foot album covers. WPL is re-introducing a way of experiencing music to longtime fans, plus a generation or two who never knew the joy of flipping through local music store racks and discovering their next favorite album.
The Vinyl Revival bins contain more than 100 discs, featuring rock, pop, reggae, R&B, rap, classical, country, and many other genres; new titles will be added regularly. The listening table has one stereo turntable and two pairs of headphones, so the vinyl experience can be shared (you can also use your own earbuds).
Vinyl Revival is ready to spin in the Tech Lab during regular library hours. Go to the Reference Desk for assistance.
