The Alchemyst by Michael Scott

I found this book really interesting and hard to put down. The characters were each diverse from each other which made it so much fun to read! The author made sure to put plenty of detail into describing each moment, and character. The fact that the characters in this book made references back to the 1300s when Nicholas Flamel was born was so cool! This book is the first in a set of six books, and I think that it was perfect start to an amazing series. There were many cliff hangers at the end of each chapter which made me want to read the whole book in one night! The books starts off ( I’ll try not to spoil it) with Sophie and Josh, who are twins, with archeologists for parents. They move to San Francisco and both have to get jobs in the city. If you want to find out more, than I suggest that you read this book. Happy reading!!
