Anastasia

This movie is based on the legend of Grand Duchess Anastasia, the film follows an eighteen-year-old Anastasia "Anya" Romanov who is an amnesiac, she is hoping to find some trace of her dead family. She ends up siding with two con men who want to pass her off as the Grand Duchess to widow empress Maria Feodorovna. While the movie is not really historically accurate, I don't mind. The movie is fiction but based on a true story of Anastasia's rumored escape and the women who claimed to be her. The movie has wonderful animation which was a new thing at the time. The Characters are different with an amazing voice cast and It's not your usual Princess film. What makes it different than the rest is that it's not the usual story of her being rescued by a handsome prince cliché, instead she falls for and forgives a con man who has great charm.
