Encanto

A movie that I watched recently that I highly recommend is Disney’s Encanto. I had heard about it before, and all the popularity surrounding the songs, but had yet to watch it, so recently I finally gave it a try. I was not disappointed at all, rather very impressed! Essentially, the plot focuses on the family Madrigal, a magical family where all of the members have special powers except for one, Mirabel. Though they have no idea why she does not have any powers, she might be their last hope as it is discovered that the magic that keeps their house together is in danger. This has to be one of my new favorite Disney movies. The songs throughout the entire movie were amazing, I can see them becoming just as popular (if not even more) than the songs from Frozen! The animation was beautiful, the characters were relatable, and there were deeper lessons within the plot that have meaning to the older viewers as well. I highly recommend Encanto, I can really see it becoming one of the most popular Disney movies!
