Holes

Overall, the movie Holes is a “must-see” movie. This movie is a book as well, (which I’ve read and I also recommend). This movie is about a boy, Stanley Yelnats, who was wrongly convicted of a crime. He was given a choice between jail or a camp. Stanley is excited because he has never been to a camp before, only to find out that it’s nothing like he thought it would be! At the beginning of the film, I love when Stanley says, “All my life, I seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.” It really made me think about how this can affect the sequence of any other regular person's daily life. Another thing I liked about this movie was how the mysteries and questions you have while watching this movie are all revealed at the end. For example, one of my questions was, why do they dig these great big holes in the first place? Watch this movie, and you will find out!
