We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

We Were Liars is a YA novel by E. Lockhart about four priveleged teens spending their summer on a private island. It seems that nothing could go wrong, but the family is full of secrets. I was invested in this book right away, and found it intriguing from the start. The plot quickly picked up and I found that I couldn't put the book down. After reading it in only one sitting I was left shocked and crying. I find it incredible when a story is able to evoke my emotions in such a way. It is an incredibly easy read, and I 100% reccomend this book.
