In my opinion, the Spy School by Stuart Gibbs is an excellent read. The novels are filled with adventure, mystery, and excitement. Stuart Gibbs made the stories funny and enjoyable, making it rather difficult to put the books down. The main character, Benjamin Ripley, is not your average kid, as he is training to become a spy at the Academy of Espionage. And at the early stages of spy training, Ben has already accomplished quite remarkable feats. He has been on covert missions, where he has used his ingenious math skills and clever thinking to solve mysteries and defeat evil-doers. Benjamin has learned critical skills that enable him to greatness, though sometimes he wonders how his colleges can obtain certain information (in which they would always respond with, “I’m training to be a spy, it’s my job to know things”). I cannot even begin to explain how intriguing the plots are, always keeping you alert and thinking about what the bad guys are plotting. And when their action is clear, you can’t help but praise Stuart Gibbs on his cleverness to come up with these plans and create clues that lead Benjamin to solving them. Thus, if you are in need of a good series to rid you of boredom, then I highly recommend the Spy School series written by Stuart Gibbs.
