This is the most immersive series I have ever read, and it continues to be one of my favorites to this day. The setup is remarkably good, with every character having flaws but also being likable so that it is impossible to choose who to root for. When I finished the first book, I was expecting the next books to be worse, but no! Each book was better than the last, getting into different aspects of America’s life. When I started the series, I was expecting 3 books full of drama and romance, but I ended up with a heroic love story prevailing through a dystopian society. This book is perfect for people who liked The Hunger Games, as it includes the same aspects of survival, romance, a dystopia, and a strong female lead.
