Legally Blonde

Legally Blonde is a movie all teenage girls should watch, not just because of the plot, but also the message. It centers around the character Elle Woods, a fashion major who is dumped by her boyfriend because she is not serious enough for him. To win him back, she decides to follow him to Harvard, and prove she can be the serious girlfriend he is looking for. While at Harvard, she realizes she has much more capability than she thought. She decides to pursue law because she actually enjoys it, and learns to stand up for herself and to demand being taken seriously as a woman. This movie teaches girls they don’t have to compromise their intelligence or their femininity, and they should never do things just to satisfy someone else.
