Everything Everywhere All at Once: This movie was a roller coaster of emotions for me. There were many aspects of the film that were confusing as it played with impossible situations, but I really enjoyed it. Through the movie's confusion, its intense and unorthodox action scenes, and its magical/supernatural aspects we get to see the inner workings of the relationship between a mother and all of those around her, including her daughter, her husband, and her father. One particular part of the movie that really stood out to me was when the main character comes to the realization that she has been looking at life all wrong; her husband’s positivity and what she had seen as weakness was really how she should have been looking at the world. She sees different versions of her reality and what her life could have been, and although first she sees her mistake in this life being her marrying her husband, she realizes that he is there for her in every reality. She’s able to see all of the love in the world and this realization allows her to rebuild the relationship with her daughter in her main reality. There is just so much to this movie to analyze and think about, and I definitely high recommend it. I hope that this movie wins for the Oscars it was nominated for, because it deserves them.
