Avatar the way of water

Movie: Avatar the way of water. The sequel to the original Avatar by James Cameron follows the family of our original protagonists, Jake and Neytiri, over the course of a dramatic few months. The movie can be an acquired taste at times, due to it’s intense reliance on it’s source material and it’s almost 3 1/2 hour length, but it is the best movie to come out of 2022 by a longshot. It has some of the most beautiful visuals in any recent memory, despite it being almost entirely CGI. It’s characters and it’s landscape are enthralling, drawing you in and leaving you wanting more when the credits role. The characters themselves are so realistic despite the fact they aren’t even human, and the movies focus on the hubris of humanity is wonderfully thought-provoking. The movie truly offers something for everyone, whether your interest is animation, the environment, a good story, or even some good old fashion action. The movie is a very solid 4 1/2 stars.
