Beyond the Bright Sea by Lauren Wolk

One of my favorite books is “Beyond the Bright Sea”. It was written by Lauren Wolk, one of my favorite authors. It was amazing and I couldn’t put it down! The book takes place on an island in Massachusetts. It is about a twelve year old girl named Crow, who was abandoned and is being raised by a man named Osh. I would recommend this book to any middle schooler who loves being put on the edge of their seat. I love this book for many reasons, but especially for its setting. I love the ocean, and anyone else who does will enjoy reading this. The main character, Crow, is very curious and is longing to find answers about her past. I rate this book five stars, and I know other readers probably will as well!
