The 1970s were a swinging time. Whether you were a sailor on a mission, a private investigator on a case, a public servant encountering an alien invasion, or an employee stealing cash, in the back of your mind, you were on the lookout for a willing partner and a casual tumble.
Experience the self-indulgent decade of free love and “me” with four A-list pictures on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
On October 20, enjoy Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), starring Donald Sutherland and Brooke Adams. San Francisco Health Department investigators Elizabeth Driscoll and Matthew Bennell realize that people are being replaced by unemotional duplicates.
The Swinging 70s: A Film Series runs on October 6, 13, 20 & 27.
This event is free and open to all.
