Goosebumps Slappy World: Night of the Squawker. This book is one of the Slappy World series, it is book number 18. Again, as in all of R.L. Stine’s books, he has delivered a chilling story. In true Goosebumps fashion, R.L. Stine introduces the characters, they are Cooper Klavan and his sister Anna. The story starts with Anna as she finds an injured bird in the woods and decides to take it home to care for it. Too bad she didn’t listen to her brother because now after getting bit by the bird, she’s been acting very, very strange lately. From there, R.L. Stine gives the story an interesting, scary and funny twist in the end. If you are a true Goosebumps fan, you may see some repeat themes, but as usual R.L. Stine keeps you waiting for his next book!
