The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996) is one of the most underrated disney movies of all time. For fan of the disney classics, this movie is a must watch. The outstanding animation alone is enough to pull you in just as it starts, with Disney’s usual charming cast of characters and incomparable musical score to keep you entertained up until the end. I will admit, this movie is a bit darker in its tone, with underlying themes involving lust (nothing +18 of course), religion, and xenophobia. While a young child would miss a majority of the darker themes, the movies surprisingly complex meanings are something that should be cherished by an older audience. It has always been a favorite of mine, and I would absolutely recommend.
