Star Wars New Hope

This movie is about a group of rebels who are trying to get the death star plans and destroy the death star so their base doesn’t get blown up. The death star plans are in a droid named R2-D2 and he has to get those plans to the rebels before the Empire finds them. So a farm boy named Luke Skywalker finds these droids and finds a message in R2 and the message says to bring the droid to obi wan kenobi and bring them to alderaan. But they need a pilot to get to Alderaan, so they find a pilot named Han Solo and his co-pilot named Chewbacca. They find that Alderaan is destroyed and they have to rescue the princess who is being held captive by the Empire. They eventually rescue the princess and take her to the rebel base and then they discuss how to destroy the death star. I´m just going to say this movie is amazing. The effects in this movie are great, obviously effects over the years have improved but the effects in this movie are still amazing. The story is also really simple because it is a classic story of good vs. evil. The writing is also phenomenal. The acting also is great. The characters are memorable. However there is one moment near the end where it was good for the time when it came out but now it doesn't hold up but it was good for the time. That is really my only complaint about this movie. So overall I would give this movie a 9.5 out of 10.
