Newsies

Newsies is an amazing movie. I was blown away by the outstanding choreography and the singing. I loved the character development, especially with Jack and Davey’s characters. I also loved Katherine’s character. She’s very smart and picks things up pretty quickly. The movie had just the right amount of sadness, mixed with all of the comedical lines and moments. The acting was amazing and I could listen to them sing forever. It was such a powerful movie and some of the lines and songs just blew me away, like “Once and For All” and “Seize the Day”. It was very powerful and moving, definitely making me want to take down an unfair patriarchy too. I’d definitely watch it again.
