Hadestown (soundtrack)

Hadestown is an absolutely amazing soundtrack. Even though you can’t see the people singing it, it’s like you can still feel their energy when you listen to it, especially through headphones. The orchestra and background music is outstanding and really sets the tone and helps us connect to the musical and storyline. You can hear the emotions in the actors' voices and they have such beautiful voices as well. It’s a very heartbreaking musical, with just the right amount of comedy. It really energizes me and makes me want to cry and laugh at the same time. I’d definitely want to see the musical in person and I’ll definitely listen to the album again.
