Join Survivor Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) RI leader Claude Leboeuf for a discussion about childhood sexual abuse on Wednesday, March 5 at 7 p.m.
Claude is a survivor, activist, and advocate who regularly testifies at the Rhode Island Statehouse in support of changing state laws to make it easier to litigate against sexual predators and the organizations that sometimes protect them.
Hear about childhood sexual abuse, the emotional effects of abuse, legal issues, therapy, and Claude’s experience of repressed and recovered memory.
SNAP is an all-volunteer organization of men and women who were sexually abused by spiritual elders (Catholic priests, brothers, nuns, ministers, teachers, etc.) that helps survivors find healing and empowerment by joining with other survivors.
This event is free and open to all.
