Over the Moon

"Over the Moon" is a cute and heartwarming movie about a little girl named Fei Fei who wants to prove the existence of the moon goddess, Chang'e, to her father in order for him to stay loyal to his wife (Fei Fei's mom) who sadly passed away. The moon goddess would wait every night for her one true love to return to her, which is why Fei Fei wants to meet her since Chang'e never gave up on her true love. Something that her father should do as well instead of falling for another woman. This movie is beautiful. The animation is stunning, the songs are spectacular and memorable, the characters (and their interactions) are adorable -- it makes you think that this is a Disney movie. The message or the theme also really stands out and brings out many emotions like sadness and joy. This is a movie that most people would be able to relate to.
