Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

Shadow and Bone is a YA fantasy novel by Leigh Bardugo, about a soldier who discovers she has magical powers that could save her country. This book is one of my favorites based on plot. I found it incredibly interesting, and Bardugo's world building is amazing. However, the romance is not my favorite. It is a love triangle but the main interest was boring and unlikeable to me. Again, the plot was so great to me that I didn't even care about the romance, so I would totally reccomend this book. It is actually a trilogy that is being adapted by Netflix and is released in April which is so exciting. Bardugo also has a duology, Six of Crows, that is a continuation of this world and is in the Netflix adaptation as well.
