Turning Red

Yet another triumph from Pixar! A humorous coming of age movie. I really appreciated the complex relationships portrayed in the movie that I believe some viewers can relate to. The depiction of transition from a child to a teenager I believe (as a teenager myself) is one of the most accurate I've seen on screen. It never felt patronizing of what young adults experience and instead gives them comfort in knowing they aren't the only ones experiencing it. Now about the movie itself. The animation style and character design is so visually appealing! And the voice actors chosen for all the roles were equally amazing. These two aspects make this movie very appealing to me. I believe it was an amazing movie that everyone, even those who think they may not have anything to relate to in the movie, should give it a chance!
